The Disco 240 is a lighting control console designed for managing DMX512-compatible stage lights. It is specifically built to control up to 12 intelligent lights (such as moving heads or scanners) and 24 channels of dimmers (such as PAR cans or LED bars). The "240" in its name refers to the total number of DMX channels available on the board.

The Disco 240 assigns exactly 20 DMX channels to each of its 12 fixture buttons. To make your physical lights respond to the correct scanner button, you must set the start address on the lighting fixture itself using its digital menu or DIP switches. Connect a 3-pin DMX cable from the port on the back of the Disco 240 to the DMX IN port of the first fixture.
